Se evaluó la capacidad entomopatógena de los hongos Beauveria bassiana, Metarhizium anisopliae y Paecilomyces lilacinus sobre larvas de Diatraea saccharalis en caña panelera. Se evaluaron los hongos de manera individual y la mezcla de B. bassiana con M. anisopliae y P. lilacinus, comparada con el producto químico Spinetoram (Exalt)®. El hongo B. bassiana controló eficientemente la plaga, convirtiéndose en una opción viable para la regulación de las poblaciones de este insecto plaga.
The entomopathogenic capacity of Beauveria bassiana, Metarhizium anisopliae and Paecilomyces lilacinus fungi was evaluated on larvae of Diatraea saccharalis in sugarcane. These fungi were evaluated individually and a mixture containing B. bassiana, M. anisopliae and P. lilacinus was compared with the chemical compound Spinetoram (Exalt)®. It was found that the B. bassiana fungus efficiently controlled the plague, becoming a viable option in order to regulate the populations of this insect pest.
