Resumen de Aproximación a las niñas, niños y adolescentes peruanos en situación de calle

Este artículo expone la situación de los niños y adolescentes peruanos que se encuentran en la calle. Trabajan en la calle en relación con su familia o independientemente de ella, mendigan, están explotados sexualmente, viven y duermen en la calle. Presenta su perfil típico (edad, sexo, situación familiar) y define el modo de vida de los que viven en la calle en pandillas. Frente a la magnitud de este problema social, abordamos las medidas iniciadas por el gobierno para resolver en parte dicha preocupación que afecta toda la sociedad.

This article reviews the situation of Peruvian children and teenagers living on the street. They work on the street with or without their families, they beg, they are sexually exploited, they live and sleep on the street. It deals with their typical profile (age, gender, family situation) and it defines the lifestyle of those who are living and sleeping on the street involved in gang activities. Towards the severity rate of this social problem, it considers the measures taken by the government to solve this concern impacting the whole society.
