Resumen de Patología dual en pacientes de la comunidad terapéutica de proyecto hombre: proyecto de investigación

  Actualmente ha habido un claro incremento en el consumo de sustancias tóxicas. Cuando convive de forma simultánea o secuencial un problema de adicción y un trastorno mental, es denominado patología dual.

  Hay un amplio abanico de trastornos mentales asociados al consumo de drogas, pero los más relevantes son depresión, trastorno bipolar y trastornos psicóticos. Objetivos: Estudiar la prevalencia de patología dual en pacientes de la CTPH, evaluar las particularidades sociodemográficas de los pacientes que padecen patología dual, así como el tipo de trastorno mental y la relación con las sustancias consumidas. También se valorará el grado de conciencia que tienen de la enfermedad y su nivel de funcionamiento. Metodología: Estudio descriptivo, observacional y transversal con una duración de 10 meses. Se llevará a cabo con la participación de todos los miembros que vivan en la Comunidad Terapéutica durante el tiempo que dure la investigación. Realizaremos un cuestionario cerrado y pasaremos diferentes escalas de forma individual. Será dirigido por la enfermera a cargo. Análisis de la información: las variables cualitativas serán analizadas con la prueba Chi cuadrado y las cuantitativas con T- student.

  Currently there has been a clear increase in the consumption of toxic substances. When an addiction problem and a mental disorder coexist simultaneously or sequentially, this is what we call Dual Pathology. There is a wide range of mental disorders associated with drug use, but the most relevant are depression, bipolar disorder and psychotic disorders. Objectives: To study the prevalence of dual pathology in patients of the CTPH, to evaluate the sociodemographic particularities of patients suffering from dual pathology, as well as the type of mental disorder and the relationship with the substances consumed. The degree of awareness they have of the disease and their level of functioning will also be assessed. Methodology: Descriptive, observational and cross-sectional study with a duration of 10 months. It will be carried out with the participation of all the members living in the Therapeutic Community during the time the research lasts. We will carry out a closed questionnaire and we will pass different scales individually. It will be conducted by the nurse in charge. Analysis of the information: qualitative variables will be analyzed with the Chi-square test and quantitative variables with the Student’s t-test.
