Este artículo pretende mostrar el marco referencial quecontiene el marco teórico, conceptual, legal, institución yestado del arte que se constituyen como estructura para eldesarrollo del proyecto de investigación, que tiene comoobjetivo identificar las acciones convergentes para potencializar el sector agropecuarios y agroindustrial del Departamento del Meta, a través del mercado de commodities.Con relación a lo anterior, es relevante profundizar en lasteorías, normatividad, políticas y programas existentes, yaque aportan las orientaciones, conceptualización, búsqueda de referentes, que conllevarían a diseñar estrategias paramejorar el acceso de los productores agropecuarios y agroindustriales a la Bolsa Mercantil de Colombia e incrementarel aprovechamiento de su potencial productivo.El resultado de la construcción del marco referencial aporta el análisis e interpretación, de las teorías, leyes, normasy políticas vigentes como soporte para el alcance de losobjetivos propuestos y el desarrollo metodológico de lainvestigación.
