Percepción del bienestar del adulto mayor durante el confinamiento por la pandemia por covid-19

    La población mundial se ha enfrentado a un cambio por la emergencia sanitaria del COVID-19, afectando entre otra cosa, la forma de interactuar. El sector de la población que es más vulnerable ante esta enfermedad son los adultos mayores razón por la que las autoridades sanitarias han solicitado se encuentren en confinamiento hasta tener mayor control del virus.  El propósito de la investigación fue comprender la percepción de bienestar del adulto mayor del municipio de Celaya durante el confinamiento. La metodología se realizó con un enfoque cualitativo con abordaje fenomenológico-hermenéutico, permitiendo tener una comprensión desde la percepción subjetiva de la experiencia de vida del adulto mayor. Se utilizó el software de ATLAS.ti7 para la codificación, redes y co-ocurrencia de los datos obtenidos. Los datos que los participantes destacaron fue que la enfermedad generó emociones negativas y afectó sus relaciones y roles sociales, aislándolos y volviéndolos más dependientes. Las afectaciones fueron resignificadas a través de la espiritualidad, agente más importante de su percepción. Resaltaron la importancia de los medios de comunicación virtual como ayuda a minorizar la falta de contacto físico con sus familiares.

    The world population has faced a change due to the COVID-19 health emergency, affecting, among other things, the way of interacting. The sector of the population that is most vulnerable to this disease is the elderly, which is why the health authorities have requested that they be confined until the virus is under control.  The purpose of the research was to understand the perception of well-being of the elderly in the municipality of Celaya during confinement. The methodology was carried out with a qualitative approach with a phenomenological-hermeneutic approach, allowing an understanding from the subjective perception of the life experience of the elderly. The ATLAS.ti7 software was used for coding, networking and co-occurrence of the data obtained. The data highlighted by the participants was that the disease generated negative emotions and affected their relationships and social roles, isolating them and making them more dependent. The affectations were re-signified through spirituality, the most important agent of their perception. They highlighted the importance of the virtual media as an aid to minimize the lack of physical contact with their relatives.
