Resumen de Nota: Primer registro de Chilomycterus Reticulatus (Linnaeus) (Pisces: Tetradontiformes: Diodontidae) para el Caribe colombiano

• The spotted burrfish, Chilomycterus reticulatus, is reported by the first time from the Colombian Caribbean based on two specimens collected off the Guajira Peninsula. This species, considered circuntropical by many authors, is poorly recorded from the Caribbean.
