    La pobreza es la dificultad que tienen los sujetos para obtener recursos económicos suficientes para comprar bienes y servicios. Su imposibilidad afecta el neurodesarrollo infantil al privarse de una alimentación adecuada, pautas de crianza afectiva y de apoyo, vivienda digna, servicios de educación y salud. Las difíciles situaciones a las que se exponen los niños, estructura modelos neuropsicológicos in-maduros y de baja funcionalidad adaptativa, manteniendo pautas de desigualdad. La intervención política y económica es insuficiente y no es contundente, llevando a la necesidad de buscar y reflexionar, estrategias que puedan mejorar las habilidades neuropsicológicas a pesar de la vulnerabilidad. El documento describe, conceptualmente, las reflexiones sobre la pobreza, desigualdad social y el neurodesarrollo, y estructura de forma hipotética una estrategia pedagógica para mejorar las habilidades de planeación, memoria de trabajo, inhibición y toma de decisiones en niños y niñas de instituciones educativas en condición de vulnerabilidad.

    Poverty is the lack of the financial resources and essentials for a min-imum standard of livings. The income povetry affects children’s neu-rodevelopment, depriving them of adequate food, decent housing, ed-ucation and health services, and creates an stressful with inadequate affective and supportive parenting patterns. this envirtomental con-ditions can lead to toxic stress and negatively impact the development of the brain’s stress regulation systems structuring neuropsychologi-cal models of low functionality that maintain poverty and inequality.This work describes a conceptual framework for the study and re-search on povetry- social inequality and neurodevelopment and concluding with hypothethical proposal of a pedagogical strategy wich aims to improve the skills of planning, working memory, inhibition and decision making of young children in vulnerable educational in-stitutions.
