  La creación de la Red de Innovación Social en Salud para la Provincia de Veraguas (RISSVERAGUAS) es un modelo original de articulación entre las comunidades de 105 corregimientos en 12 distritos, con las instituciones responsables de atender emergencias individuales o colectivas. RISSVERAGUAS se constituye en una instancia de planificación estratégica, para atender problemas comunitarios. El objetivo conformar la Red interactuando lo social y tecnológico. La metodología con enfoque de escogencia estratégica. De cada corregimiento se logra recopilar y sistematizar en tiempo real, información de las comunidades utilizando y acercando los beneficios de la tecnología a la población. Se contribuye al fortalecimiento del capital social, considerando los determinantes sociales y ambientales de la salud. Impulsa la medicina preventiva. Favorece la actividad universitaria. Fortalece los gobiernos locales, la descentralización y la democracia. Articula al sector público y privado para políticas públicas. Este proyecto fue financiado por la SENACYT con recursos del BID.

  The creation of the Network of Social Innovation in Health for the Province of Veraguas (RISSVERAGUAS) is an original model of articulation between the communities of 105 corregimientos in 12 districts, with the institutions responsible for dealing with individual or collective emergencies. RISSVERAGUAS is constituted in an instance of strategic planning, to address community problems. The objective of forming the Network interacting with the social and technological. The methodology with a strategic choice approach. From each corregimiento it is possible to collect and systematize in real time, information from the communities using and bringing the benefits of technology closer to the population. It contributes to the strengthening of social capital, considering the social and environmental determinants of health. Promote preventive medicine. It favors university activity.
