    El Laboratorio de imágenes para re-pensar la condición humana realizado en el Reclusorio Preventivo Varonil Norte ubicado en la Ciudad de México, se suma a los “ámbitos de aprendizaje” y al “trabajo colaborativo y autónomo”. Pretende ser un terreno más, orientado al diálogo, al debate, a la gestación de interrogantes, a la reflexión y la generación de estrategias metacognitivas. Se proyecta como un ámbito que pretende despertar en los estudiantes en reclusión el interés por participar activamente en su formación universitaria, favoreciendo la interacción en torno al conocimiento, al trabajo colaborativo y al autónomo. El laboratorio está concebido desde el modelo de “educación centrada en el aprendizaje”, pero de un aprendizaje significativo que oriente la acción educativa y el desarrollo de capacidades de pensamiento crítico. En este trabajo se comparten los resultados de dicha práctica académica dando cuenta de cómo el cine es un recurso académico que motiva el aprendizaje y la reflexión en torno a la condición humana, en estudiantes universitarios en reclusión.

    The Image Laboratory to rethink the human condition carried out in the North Male Preventive Prision located in Mexico City, adds to the “learning environments” and the “collaborative and autonomous work”. It aims to be another area, oriented to dialogue, debate, the gestation of questions, reflection and the generation of metacognitive strategies. It is projected as an area that aims to awaken in students in seclusion the interest to participate actively in their university education, favoring the interaction around knowledge, collaborative work and the self-employed. The Laboratory is conceived from the model of “education centered on learning”, but of a significant learning that guides the educational action and the development of critical thinking skills. In this work, the results of this academic practice are shared, showing how cinema is an academic resource that motivates learning and reflection about the human condition, in university students in seclusion.
