Resumen de Ecuador: Incidencia del Producto Interno Bruto en el Gasto de consumo final hogares, 2000-2020

El objetivo de la investigación consiste en medir la incidencia del producto interno bruto en el gasto de consumo final hogares del Ecuador período 2000-2020. Siendo necesario la aplicación de un modelo econométrico de series de tiempo con sus respectivas pruebas de correcta especificación. Los principales resultados demostraron que, el coeficiente de la variable producto interno corresponde a 0.188 significando que, si el crecimiento económico aumenta anualmente en 1%, el gasto de consumo final familiar se incrementará anualmente en 0.188%, siendo bueno para el modelo. Las conclusiones permiten determinar la importancia de la reactivación económica en el país para dinamizar el consumo familiar, fomentar el progreso de las actividades comerciales con fuentes de trabajo capaces de generar bienestar económico.

The objective of the research is to measure the incidence of the gross domestic product in the final consumption expenditure of households in Ecuador for the period 2000-2020. Being necessary the application of an econometric model of time series with its respective tests of correct specification.
The main results showed that the coefficient of the domestic product variable corresponds to 0.188, meaning that, if economic growth increases annually by 1%, the final family consumption expenditure will increase annually by 0.188%, which is good for the model. The conclusions make it possible to determine the importance of the economic reactivation in the country to stimulate family consumption, promote the progress of commercial activities with sources of work capable of generating economic well-being.
