Resumen de Percepción sobre el proceso de salud-enfermedad del Covid-19 en adultos y cuidados de enfermería

El propósito de la investigación fue indagar sobre la percepción del proceso de salud enfermedad por Covid-19 en adultos que recibieron los cuidados de Enfermería. Este estudio cualitativo y descriptivo permitió interpretar desde los pensamientos y estimaciones en una muestra intencional de ocho sujetos que padecieron el Covid-19, con una entrevista semiestructurada en profundidad, considerando la teoría del “contagio vivo” y los postulados de Henle-Koch. El Covid-19 se fundamenta en una concepción biológica de enfermedad compleja, cuyos factores sociales, culturales y psicológicos actúan como causas predisponentes o desencadenantes del proceso salud enfermedad que afectan al individuo, generando transformaciones en el contexto biológico, físico, ambiental e histórico de la población, donde el ambiente actúa como componente predisponente para que el agente externo entre en contacto con el individuo y cause la enfermedad. Este análisis permitió exponer como el Covid-19, afectó la salud de los individuos causando una vivencia difícil, que se tornó incapacitante para realizar las actividades diarias, la vida social con la familia y amigos, viviendo episodios de miedo y angustia al pensar que su salud empeoraría por el alto riesgo de morir; lo cual agudizó el desasosiego, la incertidumbre y la depresión durante su proceso salud enfermedad.

The purpose of this research was to inquire about the perception of the Covid-19 disease health process in adults who received Nursing care. This qualitative and descriptive study made it possible to interpret from the thoughts and estimates in an intentional sample of eight subjects who suffered from Covid-19, with an in-depth semi-structured interview, considering the theory of “live contagion” and the Henle-Koch postulates. Covid-19 is based on a biological conception of complex disease, whose social, cultural and psychological factors act as predisposing causes or triggers of the health-disease process that affect the individual, generating transformations in the biological, physical, environmental and historical context of the disease. population, where the environment acts as a predisposing component for the external agent to come into contact with the individual and cause the disease. This analysis allowed to expose how Covid-19 affected the health of individuals causing a difficult experience, which became disabling to carry out daily activities, social life with family and friends, experiencing episodes of fear and anguish when thinking that their health would worsen due to the high risk of dying; which exacerbated the restlessness, uncertainty and depression during his health-disease process.
