El concepto Dios en el niño de nivel inicial: su relación con la idea de Dios que el docente-catequista atribuye a los niños

    Se investigó acerca de la relación existente entre el conocimiento que los docentes de nivelinicial poseen acerca de los saberes previos de sus alumnos referidos al concepto Dios, y lo que estos realmente tienen con relación a dicho concepto.Se utilizó una metodología descriptiva. Se estableció un diálogo entre la información brindada por dos tipos de instrumentos: los resultados obtenidos a partir de la realización de una serie de entrevistas a niños de cinco años de edad y los datos resultantes a partir de una encuesta dirigida a la totalidad de los docentes-catequistas del nivel inicial que desarrollan su tarea educativa en colegios católicos de la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires.Los resultados han revelado una baja correspondencia entre lo que el docente piensa que el niño cree, y lo que éste realmente piensa. En este sentido, debemos afirmar que el dominio que los docentes manifiestan acerca de los saberes previos que sus alumnos poseen debe ser fortalecido.

    Research was conducted on the correlation between the knowledge/awareness preschool teachers have about the background knowledge of their students regarding the concept of God, and what the student’s actually know about God.A descriptive methodology was used. A dialogue was established between the information gathered from two sources: the results obtained from a series of interviews with five-year-old children and the data resulting from a survey addressed to all preschool teacher-catechists who work in catholic schools which belong to the Archdiocese of Buenos Aires.The results have shown little correspondence between what the teacher believes the infantsknow and what they actually know or think. Therefore, we could claim that the knowledgethe teachers reveal and handle about the background knowledge that their students bringshould be reinforced.
