El Trastorno por Déficit de Atención con Hiperactividad (TDAH), es un trastorno conductual que surge en la infancia teniendo como síntoma principal un patrón persistente de desatención y/o hiperactividad e impulsividad presentes en al menos dos contextos. Se hace una revisión bibliográfica orientada a proporcionar información científica, avalada por especialistas que permita conocer los aspectos inherentes al TDAH. Se utilizó la base de datos EBSCO host y el motor de búsqueda de Google Académico. Los resultados se representan a través de un flujograma prisma y el gestor bibliográfico Zotero, obteniendo 9 publicaciones científicas para el análisis. Los hallazgos sugieren la necesidad de atención en edades tempranas, la colaboración de especialista, docentes y padres de familia, con la intención de mejorar la futura adaptación de los estudiantes que la padecen al contexto social. Se concluye que es un problema de salud pública que se presenta en niños, jóvenes y adultos, en donde los esfuerzos realizados a través de las aportaciones científicas están orientadas a ofrecer a los docentes y padres las orientaciones precisas para intervenir de manera oportuna ante posibles casos.
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a behavioral disorder that arises in childhood with a persistent pattern of inattention and/or hyperactivity and impulsivity present in at least two contexts as its main symptom. A bibliographical review is made aimed at providing scientific information, endorsed by specialists that allows knowing the inherent aspects of ADHD. The EBSCO host database and the Google Scholar search engine were used. The results are represented through a prism flowchart and the Zotero bibliographic manager, obtaining 9 scientific publications for analysis. The findings suggest the need for attention at an early age, the collaboration of specialists, teachers and parents, with the intention of improving the future adaptation of students who suffer from it to the social context. It is concluded that it is a public health problem that occurs in children, young people and adults, where the efforts made through scientific contributions are aimed at offering teachers and parents the precise guidelines to intervene in a timely manner in possible case.
