Variaciones poéticas chilenas en torno al descendimiento y la kenosis

    El presente ensayo propone examinar el motivo del descendimiento, recurrente en la poesía chilena, en "Tala" (1938) de Gabriela Mistral, "Señal de ceniza" (1995) de Manuel Silva Acevedo, "INRI" (2003) de Raúl Zurita y "Luz rabiosa" (2007) de Rafael Rubio. Un análisis atento de este corpus en torno al citado motivo nos permite destacar una relación entre la representación (directa o indirecta) del cuerpo crístico muerto, por un lado, y una aproximación a la figura de Dios como proceso de vaciamiento, por otro. La hipótesis que guía este artículo es que este proceso de vaciamiento, llamado "kenosis" por la teología cristiana tradicional, subyace al motivo del descencimiento y le concede una significación profunda.

    The motif of descent is recurrent in Chilean poetry. We propose to analyse it in "Tala" (1938) by Gabriela Mistral, "Señal de ceniza" (1995) by Manuel Silva Acevedo, "INRI" (2003) by Raúl Zurita and "Luz rabiosa" (2007) by Rafael Rubio. The analysis of this corpus allows us to highlight a relationship between the representation (direct or indirect) of the dead Christic body, on the one hand, and an approach to the figure of God as a process of emptying, on the other. The hypothesis guiding this article is that this process of emptying, called "kenosis" by traditional Christian theology, underlies the motif of the Descent from the Cross and gives it its profound significance.
