Marcadores del discurso e indexicalidad. Una lectura del comportamiento pragmático de en plan, onda y tipo desde la sociolingüística de la identidad

    El presente trabajo analiza el comportamiento pragmático y la distribución geolectal y sociolingüística de los marcadores discursivos enplan, onday tipoen una muestra de 180 entrevistas, de diez comunidades de habla, pertenecientes al Proyecto para el Estudio Sociolingüístico del Español de España y de América (PRESEEA). Con base en los lineamientos teórico-metodológicos de los estudios sobre variación pragmática regional y de la sociolingüística de la identidad, se describen, por un lado, las funciones que tales unidades desempeñan en la actividad discursiva y, por otro, su configuración regional y social. En relación con el componente pragmático, los resultados muestran la presencia de dos funciones preponderantes y comunes a los tres marcadores: concrecióny enunciación. Respecto de su distribución sociolingüística y geolectal, mientras en plany ondaposeen un alcance regional más restringido, la presencia de tipose verifica en el total de comunidades seleccionadas. Asimismo, los tres marcadores aparecen asociados mayoritariamente al grupo etario más joven de la muestra; se propone, en esta línea, que la explotación pragmática situada, de manera preferente por hablantes jóvenes, convierte a los marcadores en recursosque, desde la noción de indexicalidad, se asocian con (y pueden permitir la inscripción de) una identidad juvenil.

    The present work analyzes the pragmatic behavior andthe sociolinguistic and geolectal distribution of the discursive markersen plan,ondaandtipoin a sample of 180 interviews, from ten speech communitiesthat are part ofthe Project for the Sociolinguistic Study of Spanish from Spain and America (PRESEEA). Based on the theoretical-methodological guidelines of the studies on regional pragmatic variation and the sociolinguistics of identity, weoutline the functions these units performin discursive activity, as well as their social and regional configuration. Regarding the pragmatic component, the results show the presence of two preponderant and common functions to the three markers: concretionandenunciation. Regarding its sociolinguistic and geolectal distribution, whileen planandondahave a more restricted regional scope, the presence oftipoisrecorded in all the communities studied. Likewise, the three markers appear mostly associated with the youngest age group in the sample; it is proposed, in this line, that situated pragmatic exploitation, preferably by young speakers, turns markers into resources that, from the notion of indexicality, are associated with (and can allow the inscription of) a youthful identity
