  El objetivo de investigación es describir los significados atribuidos por un grupo de mujeres a la experiencia de enfrentar una pérdida perinatal en la adolescencia. La metodología implementada fue de tipo cualitativa con diseño narrativo. La técnica para recabar la información consistió en una entrevista no estructurada. Las participantes corresponden a cuatro mujeres con un rango de edad entre los 28 a 37 años. Para la selección se utilizó un muestreo intencional. Las entrevistas se grabaron en audio y se transcribieron literalmente. Se realizó un análisis categorial inductivo y se contrastaron similitudes y diferencias entre participantes. Dentro de los resultados se observa que para estas mujeres el significado asignado al apoyo del padre del bebé es importante, ya que se considera fundamental su presencia en los momentos de dificultad experimentados por estas mujeres. El significado atribuido a la pérdida tiene que ver con un profundo dolor y sentimientos de culpabilidad. Lo anterior genera diversas manifestaciones físicas, emocionales y espirituales en este grupo de mujeres. Las creencias religiosas facilitan a estas mujeres otorgar un significado a la pérdida. La experiencia de pérdida suscitó una reflexión importante, la cual centralizó más las motivaciones vitales de este grupo de mujeres.

  The research objective is to describe the meanings attributed by a group of women to the experience of facing a perinatal loss in adolescence. The implemented methodology was of a qualitative type with a narrative design. The technique to collect the information consisted of an unstructured interview. The participants correspond to four women with an age range between 28 to 37 years. Intentional sampling was used for selection. The interviews were audio-recorded and literally transcribed. An inductive categorical analysis was performed and similarities and differences between participants were verified. Among the results, it is observed that for these women the meaning assigned to the support of the father of the baby is important, since their presence is considered fundamental in the moments of difficulty experienced by these women. The meaning attributed to the loss has to do with deep pain and feelings of guilt. This generates various physical, emotional and spiritual manifestations in this group of women. Religious beliefs make it easier for these women to give meaning to loss. The experience of loss sparked an important reflection, which further centralized the vital motivations of this group of women.
