Carta puebla y concordias del señorío valenciano de Anna (1611-1654)

    Hace años la expulsión morisca y el nuevo repoblamiento cristiano del siglo XVII se consideraba, fuera de toda duda, una coyuntura propicia para proceder a una refeudalización del País Valenciano, a fin de mostrar un nuevo régimen señorial que se mantendría basta la crisis del Antiguo Régimen. Sin embargo; la introducción en el análisis de las concordias firmadas entre los nuevos vasallos y los señores a lo largo del siglo XVII nos indica que el régimen señorial no fue algo invariable en el tiempo. La firma de estas concordias muestra la dialéctica negociadora fruto de la lucha de clases en el marco del señorío. Los hechos contrastados entre las cartas pueblas originales y las concordias posteriores obligan a relativizar la incidencia de la refeudalización o endurecimiento de las condiciones de la nueva población del XVII, que hasta ahora nos eran desconocidas para el condado de Anna.

    For years the expulsion or the Moors and the posterior Christian resettlement in the XVII Century was certainly thought to have created the ideal conditions for a return to a feudal system in the Valencian region, with a view to putting in place a new regime of Lords and vassals which would be maintained until the Old Regime crisis. However, the introduction of the analysis of the agreement signed by the new vassals and their masters throughout the XVII century, shows us that the implementations of this new regime was not implacable. The signing of these agreements indicates the beginnings of a negotiating power as a result of the class struggle within the frameword of the feudal estate. There is a contrast between the facts given in original documents and posterior agreements which makes us thing that this hitherto unknown to us in connection to Anna County.
