Resumen de Archivadas: Colección Nuestras Arquitectas, Sociedad Central de Arquitectos, Argentina

  Se presentan los resultados preliminares del trabajo de catalogación de la colección Nuestras Arquitectas del Archivo de la Sociedad Central de Arquitectos de Argentina. Se trata de 78 carpetas de correspondencia de las socias con la entidad que incluyen casi 800 piezas datadas entre 1922 y 1974: fichas de inscripción de las socias con datos y fotografías, currículums, recortes de periódicos, correspondencia de diferentes temáticas (pago de cuotas, a participación en eventos y congresos de la especialidad, invitaciones a reuniones o comisiones técnicas con instituciones gubernamentales).

  El objetivo principal del proyecto es el de poner en valor el fondo y hacerlo accesible para visibilizar las primeras arquitectas argentinas. El tratamiento de colecciones con criterios archivísticos, cuyas descripciones sean accesibles mediante la web, permitirá poner a disposición del público en general y a quienes investigan los contenidos con la intención de ampliar el conocimiento sobre la historia de la profesión.

  The preliminary results of the cataloguing work of the Nuestras Arquitectas collection of the Archive of the Central Society of Architects of Argentina are presented. It consists of 78 folders of correspondence between members and the organization, including almost 800 items dated between 1922 and 1974: members' registration forms with data and photographs, resumes, newspaper clippings, correspondence on different topics (payment of dues, participation in events and congresses of the specialty, invitations to meetings or technical commissions with governmental institutions).

  The main objective of the project is to enhance the value of the collection and make it accessible in order to make the first Argentine women architects visible. The treatment of collections with archival criteria, whose descriptions are accessible through the web, will make the contents available to the general public and to researchers, thus broadening knowledge about the history of the profession.
