Resumen de O daytime televisivo em Portugal:: Um olhar sobre a evolução dos talk shows matinais (1985-2023)

  This study analyses the specificity of the morning period in generalist free-to-air television in Portugal. In general, daytime television is characterised by its specific audience and the specific content offered by the channels. Using an interdisciplinary approach that includes the analysis of written documents, audiovisual material and interviews, this analysis seeks to identify the main programmes, actors and events that have characterised this period of television in the last years (RTP1, SIC and TVI). The study traces the evolution of morning talk shows in Portugal, analysing changes and trends over time. The results of this analysis contribute to a deeper understanding of the dynamics of morning television in Portugal, as well as to knowledge about the evolution of television programming in specific cultural contexts. This study is relevant to academics, television industry professionals and anyone interested in the history and impact of television on Portuguese society.

  Este estudo analisa a distinta natureza do período matinal na televisão generalista em sinal aberto, em Portugal. No panorama geral, o daytimetelevisivo tem sido caracterizado pela sua audiência específica e pelos conteúdos particulares oferecidos pelos canais. Utilizando uma abordagem interdisciplinar que inclui a análise de documentos escritos, material audiovisual e entrevistas, esta análise procura identificar os principais programas, intervenientes e eventos que marcaram este período televisivo nos últimos anos (RTP1, SIC e TVI). O estudo traça a evolução dos talk shows matinais em Portugal, analisando as mudanças e tendências ao longo do tempo. Os resultados desta análise contribuem para uma compreensão mais profunda das dinâmicas da televisão matinal em Portugal, bem como para o conhecimento sobre a evolução da programação televisiva em contextos culturais específicos. Este estudo é relevante para acadêmicos, profissionais da indústria televisiva e todos os interessados na história e na influência da televisão na sociedade portuguesa.
