Resumen de Autopropiedad y justicia retributiva en el pensamiento de Robert Nozick

El presente artículo tiene un doble objetivo: analizar la propuesta normativa del filósofo norteamericano Robert Nozick y ubicar las ideas de este autor en la historia del pensamiento político. Para lograr el primer objetivo, se examinan los dos conceptos centrales de su obra “Anarquía, estado y utopía” (1974): la autopropiedad y la justicia retributiva. Para alcanzar el segundo, se comparan los planteamientos de Nozick con los de su presunto mentor: el filósofo inglés John Locke. Y también con una serie de pensadores liberales y utilitaristas de los siglos XVIII, XIX, y XX (Bentham, Constant, Mil, von Mises, Hayek, Berlin, …).

El present article té un doble objectiu: analitzar la proposta normativa del filòsof nord-americà Robert Nozick i situar les idees d'aquest autor en la història del pensament polític. Per a aconseguir el primer objectiu, s'examinen els dos conceptes centrals de la seva obra "Anarquia, estat i utopia" (1974): l'autopropietat i la justícia retributiva. Per assolir el segon, es comparen els plantejaments de Nozick amb els del seu presumpte mentor: el filòsof anglès John Locke. I també amb una sèrie de pensadors liberals i utilitaristes dels segles XVIII, XIX i XX (Bentham, Constant, Mil, von Mises, Hayek, Berlin, ...).

This article has a double objective: to analyze the normative proposal of the American philosopher Robert Nozick and to locate this author's ideas in the history of political thought. To achieve the first objective, he examines the two central concepts of his work “Anarchy, State and Utopia” (1974): self-ownership and retributive justice. To get to the second, let's compare Nozick's approaches with those of his supposed mentor: the English philosopher John Locke.
