La vida hospitalizada de Jacobo Fijman es de por sí un tema y un factor generador de un cierto tipo de discursividad, que podemos identificar en un conjunto de poemas inéditos legados a su amigo O. H. Dondo al cabo de que lo rescatara de otra institución hospitalaria, “Colonia Neuropsiquiátrica Domingo Cabred”, comúnmente llamada Open Door. El sujeto poético de estas composiciones está íntimamente determinado por las alternantes necesidades de apertura y de cerrazón ante el otro y Lo Otro. Veremos de qué manera se lleva al lenguaje poético el fenómeno de la hospitalidad en diversas ocurrencias.

The hospitalized life of Jacobo Fijman is a topic itself, and also a generative factor of a certain type of discursiveness, which can be identified in a set of unpublished poems bequeathed to his friend O. H. Dondo, after he was rescued from another hospital institution, “Domingo Cabred Neuropsychiatric Colony”, known as “Open Door”. The poetic subject in these compositions is intimately determined by the alternating needs of opening and closing to the others and the Other. We will briefly see how the phenomenon of hospitality is brought to poetic language in various occurrences.
