    Spermophagus omanensis es una especie nueva del Sultanato de Omán, perteneciente al grupo okahandejensis, próximo a esta especie, pero diferente en la conformación de la genitalia del macho y en otros caracteres externos, tales como la pigmentación de los tegumentos, la pubescencia y otros caracteres. Se proporciona una descripción detallada del holotipo y se discuten detalles morfológicos que la apartan de otras especies del grupo.

    Spermophagus omanensis is a new species from the Sultanate of Oman, belonging to the okahandjensis group, close to this species, but different in the conformation of the male's genitalia and in other external characters, such as the pigmentation of the integuments, the pubescence and other characters. A detailed and illustrated description of the holotype is provided and the morphological details that separate from the other species in the group, are discussed.
