    La ciudad satélite de Ciudad Pachacutec, se encuentra dentro del distrito de Ventanilla en la provincia de Callao, en el límite norte de la provincia de Lima ubicado en una faja desértica o lo que comúnmente conocemos como —arenal— entre el mar y pequeñas cerros tipo isla propios del desierto costero por lo cual presenta diversos ecosistemas por su suelo y clima. Esta investigación se centra en la búsqueda de conceptos, elementos y características desde su propio paisaje desértico relacionados con la expansión urbana y su territorio mediante la búsqueda de bibliografía especializada en el país; principalmente que intente revalorar nuestro hábitat natural, la relación físico-espacial de la actual estructura urbana con el desierto, la caracterización teórica de dimensiones básicas desde la normatividad vigente y un análisis gráfico de paisaje por capas de su proceso histórico-cultural así como de su interacción con sus ecosistemas circundantes; permitiéndonos finalmente proponer un primer escenario sostenible a través de estrategias urbanas-territoriales para una Ciudad Pachacutec con miras al 2029.

    The satellite city of Ciudad Pachacutec, is located within the district of Ventanilla in the province of Callao, in the northern limit of the province of Lima located in a desert strip or what we commonly know as —sand— between the sea and small hills type Island typical of the coastal desert, which is why it presents diverse ecosystems due to its soil and climate. This research focuses on the search for concepts, elements and characteristics from its own desert landscape related to urban expansion and its territory through the search for specialized bibliography in the country; mainly that it tries to reassess our natural habitat, the physical-spatial relationship of the current urban structure with the desert, the theoretical characterization of basic dimensions from the current regulations and a graphic analysis of the landscape by layers of its historical-cultural process as well as its interaction with its surrounding ecosystems; finally allowing us to propose a first sustainable scenario through urban-territorial strategies for a Pachacutec City with a view to 2029.
