Este artículo desgrana la historia de la Coalición Latinoamericana para la Excelencia Docente, una red informal de organizaciones e individuos que comparten el objetivo general de hacer la docencia más meritocrática, mejor preparada y con mayor apoyo en América Latina, y, fundamentalmente, compartir las lecciones extraídas de sus primeros cinco años de vida en la creación de redes de política educativa.

This article outlines the history of the Latin American Coalition for Teaching Excellence, an informal network of organizations and individuals that share the general objective of making teaching more meritocratic, better prepared and with greater support in Latin America, and, fundamentally, sharing the lessons extracted from his first five years of life in the creation of educational policy networks.
