    This work consists of discussing possibilities to better understand the space and landscape of the city of Ouro Preto - Brazil, in a descriptive, holistic and induced way. This reality can be part of the process of planning and development of tourism in the city, in the sense of bringing the tourist activity to an experience beyond the imaginary, in addition to the tourist's perception of the tourist space, and its main attractions. This look is highlighted, since the city has natural and cultural characteristics that can help in a different tourist experience. In this way, the tourist experience is highlighted in the context of analysis and description of the landscape in an inductive and informative way. Contextualized with the tourist site, from the perspective of four urban viewpoints as a means of perceiving the landscape, both the historical heritage and its surroundings, observing the urban evolution of the city, its natural and cultural aspects in the landscape. This conjuncture can also be shown by the geography of tourism, as geography allows a greater interpretation of the tourist space. Therefore, there is the possibility of working with the landscape, as a way to improve the observation, communication, interpretation and sensitivity of the tourist towards the city, using it in a pedagogical expectation, focused on the perception of the environment, geography and the cultural heritage from Ouro Preto.

    Este trabalho consiste em discutir possibilidades de perceber melhor o espaço e a paisagem da cidade de Ouro Preto/MG, de forma descritiva, holística e induzida. Esta realidade pode fazer parte do processo de planejamento e desenvolvimento do turismo na cidade, no sentido de trazer a atividade turística para uma experiência além do imaginário, ademais da percepção do turista no espaço turístico, e de seus principais atrativos. Salienta-se este olhar, já que a cidade possui características naturais e culturais que podem auxiliar em uma experiência turística diferente. Desta forma, ressalta-se a vivência turística no contexto de análise e descrição da paisagem de forma indutiva e informativa. Contextualizada com o lugar turístico, na perspectiva de quatro mirantes urbanos como meio de percepção da paisagem, tanto do patrimônio histórico como do seu entorno, observando a evolução urbana citadina, seus aspectos naturais e culturais na paisagem. Essa conjuntura pode ser transparecida também pela geografia do turismo, pois a geografia permite uma maior interpretação do espaço turístico. Logo, existe a possibilidade de trabalhar a paisagem, como forma de melhorar a observação, a comunicação, a interpretação e a sensibilidade do turista perante a cidade, utilizando a mesma em uma expectativa pedagógica voltada para percepção do meio ambiente, da geografia e do patrimônio cultural ouro-pretano
