Resumen de Multidimensionalidad de la Educación a Distancia: una mirada desde las perspectivas académica y administrativa

  La presente investigación tiene como objetivo analizar la multidimensionalidad de la Educación a Distancia desde la perspectivas académica y administrativa, tomando en cuenta el auge que esta modalidad tiene y que se desplegó más con la pandemia, indicándole a las universidades la necesidad de transformación para adecuarse a los requerimientos de la sociedad con la aplicación de las tecnologías de la información y comunicación. El estudio se desarrolló con enfoque cuantitativo, bajo el paradigma positivista, realizando una investigación descriptiva con diseño no experimental. La población se conformó con estudiantes y coordinadores de tres universidades venezolanas con la modalidad a quienes se les aplicó un cuestionario versionado para ambas poblaciones. Los resultados indicaron concordancia en las percepciones de estudiantes y coordinadores con respecto a la gestión académica y administrativa realizada con la Educación a Distancia, porque casi siempre se logra que las políticas de fortalecimiento de las nuevas tecnologías sean divulgadas por la administración académica, y son apropiadas para el personal administrativo, que se observa en el plan de mejoramiento, además,  se propicia el proceso de ingreso a la modalidad con una adecuada organización administrativa, y  se brinda capacitación e inducción para el ingreso al aula virtual.

  The objective of this research is to analyze the multidimensionality of Distance Education from the academic and administrative perspectives, taking into account the boom that this modality has and that has developed more and more with the pandemic, indicating to universities the need for transformation to adapt to the requirements of society with the application of information and communication technologies. The study was developed with a quantitative approach, under the positivist paradigm, carrying out descriptive research with a non-experimental design. The population was made up of students and coordinators from three Venezuelan universities with the modality to whom a questionnaire was applied for both populations. The results indicated concordance in the perceptions of students and coordinators regarding the academic and administrative management carried out with Distance Education, because it is almost always possible for the policies to strengthen the new technologies to be disseminated by the academic administration, and are appropriate for the administrative staff, where it is observed in the improvement plan, In addition, the process of entry to the modality is promoted with an adequate administrative organization, and training and induction are provided for entry into the virtual classroom.
