    Tras da dimisión do xeneral Primo de Rivera, a monarquía e as súas elites ficaron desorientadas. Os militares encargados de rescatar o réxime do burato negro no que o meteran en setembro de 1923, non atinaron ou non souberon como facelo. Unha parte dos seus hipotéticos apoios fixéronlle a contra para asegurarse un lugar baixo o sol nas previsíbeis eleccións. Argallaron a Unión Monárquica Nacional e puxeron á fronte un rechamante triunvirato (Guadalhorce, Calvo e Primo fillo). Coidaron que Galicia sería lugar axeitado para promover o seu proxecto. O fracaso foi estrepitoso.

    After the resignation of General Primo de Rivera, the monarchy and its elites were disoriented. The military officers in charge of rescuing the regime from the black hole in which they had put it in September 1923 failed or did not know how to do it. A portion of their hypothetical supporters turned against them to guarantee their own place in the sun in the upcoming elections. They conceived a new party (Unión Monárquica Nacional) and put in command a striking triumvirate (Guadalhorce, Calvo and Primo). They believed that Galicia would be a suitable place to promote their project. The failure was resounding.
