Resumen de Carlos Alberto Brocato: otros años 60 (y setenta): Tres retazos de una trayectoria intelectual

  Las dinámicas del campo intelectual argentino entre los años 60 y 70 han sido un objeto de estudio visitado asiduamente en las últimas décadas. En su gran mayoría las investigaciones al respecto han puesto énfasis en los cambios producidos durante esos años al calor de la «radicalización política», limitando, en muchos casos, su alcance a la adhesión de una fracción del campo intelectual a la lucha armada. El canónico trabajo de Oscar Terán al respecto sin dudas ha proporcionado una de las principales claves de lectura en ese sentido. En este caso reconstruiré la trayectoria de Carlos Alberto Brocato, quien transitó esos años a contracorriente de sus compañeros de pluma. Recorreré sus principales aportes y debates desde su expulsión del Partido Comunista y su rol como director de la revista La Rosa Blindada en 1964 hasta su ruptura con el Partido Socialista de los Trabajadores (PST) de orientación trotskista, visitando antes los aportes realizados en esta organización en pos de la organización de los intelectuales y artistas. A lo largo de esos tres momentos nos interesa ver el modo en que fue madurando la concepción de «intelectual militante» con la que el escritor definía su praxis.

  The dynamics of the Argentine intellectual field between the 1960s and 1970s have been an object of study visited assiduously in the last decades. Most of the research on the subject has emphasized the changes produced during those years in the heat of the «political radicalization», limiting, in many cases, the scope of the same to the adhesion of a fraction of the intellectual field to the armed struggle. The canonical work of Oscar Terán in this regard has undoubtedly provided one of the main keys to reading in this regard. In this case I will reconstruct the trajectory of Carlos Alberto Brocato, who went through those years against the current of his fellow writers. I will go through his main contributions and discussions since his expulsion from the Communist Party and his role as director of the magazine La Rosa Blindada in 1964 until his break with the Trotskyist‒oriented Partido Socialista de los Trabajadores (PST), visiting before the contributions made in this organization in pursuit of the organization of intellectuals and artists. Throughout these three moments we are interested in seeing the way in which the conception of «militant intelectual» with which the writer.
