    La preocupación en los momentos finales de la vida del abogado de los Reales Consejos Jerónimo del Álamo tendrá como prioridad la salvación de su alma, pero sin descuidar su cuerpo post-mortem y sus bienes. Al no tener herederos legítimos legará parte de ellos a su pasante, pero el montante mayor será para el disfrute de su espíritu en la otra vida. Todo se complementaría con las obras pías que mandó fundar a sus albaceas, las cuales se componían de dos memorias de misas y una dotación de huérfanas. Su devenir a lo largo de treinta años será el objetivo de este estudio.

    The concern in the final moments of the life of the lawyer of the Royal Councils Jerónimo del Álamo will have as priority the salvation of his soul, but without neglecting his post-mortem body and his assets. Since he has no legitimate heirs, he will bequeath part of them to his intern, but the greater amount will be for the enjoyment of his spirit in the afterlife. Everything would be complemented by the pious works that he ordered his executors to found, which were made up of two memorials of masses and an endowment for orphans. Its development over thirty years will be the objective of this study.
