    This reflection establishes relationships between the diferent kinds of fictional invention employed in the poetic conception of three artists active in contemporary art in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, as materialized in the diferent media and conception forms of their work. This paper investigates whether the several transdisciplinary connections included in these artists’ creative processes as they deal with fiction and their approaches with science might point to further pathways of knowledge about both the world through art and the configuration of art itself.

    Esta reflexão estabelece relações entre diferentes modos de invenção ficcional empregados na concepção poética de três artistas inseridos na arte contemporânea do Rio Grande do Sul, materializados por meio de suas diferentes mídias e formas de concepção de seus trabalhos. O estudo indaga se as diversas conexões transdisciplinares contidas nos processos de criação desses artistas, ao lidarem com a ficção e em suas aproximações com a ciência, poderiam entreabrir outras vias deconhecimento sobre o mundo através da arte, assim como sobre as próprias conformações da arte.
