Estado actual de la gestión socialmente responsable de los educadores con relación a la problemática de la tuberculosis.: Caso Carrera de Enfermería-Universidad de Guayaquil

    http://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.3995122 La Responsabilidad Social Universitaria es una política de mejora continua de la universidad hacia el cumplimiento efectivo de su misión social, sin embargo, la problemática de la tuberculosis ha sido levemente atendida en cuanto a las metas propuestas en la Estrategia Fin a la Tuberculosis de la Organización Mundial de la salud. El objetivo de esta investigación fue diagnosticar el estado actual de la responsabilidad social universitaria de la Carrera de Enfermería de la Universidad de Guayaquil en cuanto a la problemática de la Tuberculosis, usando el enfoque cualitativo y con la teoría fundamentada como método de análisis, se entrevistaron a seis docentes de la carrera. Se obtuvieron tres categorías: La responsabilidad social como deber universitario y profesional para la solución de los problemas de la salud; la problemática de la tuberculosis como responsabilidad única de los organismos gubernamentales y no de la Universidad; y la Formación de la responsabilidad social universitaria como consecuencia de la integración Universidad y Sociedad. Se concluye que si no existe integración interinstitucional de Universidad-Sociedad-y ente rector de salud, la problemática de la tuberculosis no podría ser abordada por parte de la institución de educación superior ni tampoco se cumpliría el objetivo de formación profesional en este ámbito.

    http://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.3995122 The University social responsibility is a policy of continuous improvement of the university towards the effective fulfillment of its social mission; however, the problem of tuberculosis has been slightly met in terms of the goals proposed in the End to Tuberculosis Strategy of the World Health Organization. The objective of this research was to diagnose the current state of university social responsibility of the Nursing Career of the University of Guayaquil regarding the problem of Tuberculosis, using the qualitative approach and with the theory as a method of analysis, so six teachers of the career were interviewed. Three categories were obtained: Social responsibility as a university and professional duty for the solution of health problems; the problem of tuberculosis as the sole responsibility of government agencies and not the University; and the Formation of university social responsibility because of the integration of the University and Society. It is concluded that if there is no inter-institutional integration of University-society and health-governing entity, the institution of higher education could not address the problem of tuberculosis nor would the objective of professional training in this area be fulfilled.
