    Buenos Aires, 6 de marzo de 2015. “Existe un contacto directo entre las cosas, la cámara y yo”, dice con firmeza Germán Scelso, cineasta y documentalista inclasificable, egresado del Departamento de Cine y TV de la UNC, durante los años noventa. Cazador de registros irreverentes, entrevistador insistente y archivero obsesivo, sus obras enlazan la experiencia y vivencia personal con lo histórico. Quizás La sensibilidad (2012) sea el film cuyo aspecto autobiográfico se manifiesta de manera más contundente. En él, sus dos abuelas, María Luisa y Laura, tesmonian su experiencia como madres de militantes del PRT-ERP, detenidos en 1976 durante la úlma dictadura en Argentina. Scelso es un creador que no sólo punza al espectador corriéndose de los lugares comunes y polícamente correctos, también duda y vuelve sobre sus pasos, pero con la convicción de que la mirada debe ser compartida. En esta entrevista –más bien un diálogo entre dos amigos que se conocieron estudiando cine, hace más de veinte años–, el documentalista recorre su periodo de formación y el modo en que fue configurando su manera de hacer cine.

    Buenos Aires, March 6, 2015. "There is a direct contact between things, the camera and myself," says firmly Germán Scelso, unclassifiable filmmaker and documentarist, graduated from the Department of Film and Tv of the National University of Córdoba, in the 1990s. Irreverent records seeker, insistent interviewer and obsessive archivist, his works link personal with historical experience. Perhaps the film I which autobiographical aspect manifests itself in a more forceful way is La sensibilidad (2012). In it, his two grandmothers, María Luisa and Laura, recall their experience as mothers of militants from the PRT‐ERP (Revolutionary Workers´ Party ‐ the People's Revolutionary Army), detained in 1976 during the dictatorship in Argentina.

    Scelso is a creator who not only pushes the viewer out of clichés and politically correctness but also who doubts and returns over his steps. However he sustains the convic on that there is a need for sharing his view upon things. In this interview -rather a dialogue between two friends who met while studying film, more than twenty years ago- the filmmaker recalls his time at the university and the way he continue giving form to his personal way of making films.
