Resumen de Comunidad y entretejidos: la experiencia del mayo feminista del 2018 en Chile.

En este artículo se pretende hacer una revisión de la historicidad de Chile y los conflictos sociales que se presentan en la actualidad, poniendo especial énfasis en las demandas históricas, pero también emergentes, del movimiento feminista. Para ello, abordaremos el movimiento social del año 2018. Que además de su gran capacidad de convocatoria, fue liderado, organizado y protagonizado por estudiantes mujeres provenientes de orígenes diversos, siendo muchas de ellas primera generación profesional. A su vez, se explora el papel del neoliberalismo, que emerge luego de la dictadura en el año 1973. Pues permite comprender el malestar social generado por una desigualdad de carácter estructural, que afecta a múltiples ámbitos de la esfera social. Desde allí se desprende la discusión de cómo esto ha repercutido en la situación de la mujer en el escenario contemporáneo y los desafíos que se presentan, tanto para el feminismo latinoamericano como para el feminismo a nivel global.

This article aims to review the historicity of Chile and the social conflicts that arise today, placing special emphasis on the historical, but also emerging, demands of the feminist movement. To do this, we will address the social movement of 2018. In addition to its great capacity to attract people, it was led, organized and carried out by female students from diverse origins, many of them being first- generation professionals. At the same time, the role of neoliberalism is explored, which emerged after the dictatorship in 1973. It allows us to understand the social unrest generated by structural inequality, which affects multiple areas of the social sphere. From there follows the discussion of how this has impacted the situation of women in the contemporary scenario and the challenges that arise, both for Latin American feminism and for feminism at a global level.
