    El objetivo de este trabajo es poder ofrecer una mirada estadística, comparativa e histórica, sobre laparticipación argentina en inspecciones del Sistema del Tratado Antártico, la importancia de haberalcanzado regularidad en su realización, así como exponer sobre la trascendencia de este mecanismo y elactivo rol que la Argentina despliega en el concierto de países antárticos.
