    En este artículo se hace una crítica de obras artísticas que proponen una ruptura simbólica de la frontera entre México y Estados Unidos como estrategia para la producción de significado. Para tal fin, se hizo una revisión del archivo del festival Insite, particularmente de las ediciones realizadas entre 1992 y 2005, identificando aquellas que tienen a la frontera o el muro fronterizo como su tema principal, y concentrándose en seis instalaciones llevadas a cabo en el muro o la línea fronteriza o sus proximidades

    This article reviews artistic works that propose variations of the symbol of breaking the border between México and the United States as a strategy for the production of meaning. To this end, a review of the InSite festival archive was carried out, particularly of the editions between 1992 y 2005, identifying those that have the border or the border wall as their main theme, and concentrating on six installations carried out in the wall or the border line or its proximities
