Resumen de Proceso de Reelección Vocacional de un Grupo de Jóvenes Peruanos Universitarios

El artículo desarrolla los objetivos de caracterizar el proceso de reelección vocacional de un grupo de diez estudiantes de universidades privadas de Lima Metropolitana (Perú) y de analizar su posición subjetiva a lo largo del mismo. Se empleó el enfoque cualitativo de investigación con diseño fenomenológico y la entrevista semiestructurada fue la técnica de recolección de la información. El proceso de reelección vocacional está compuesto por tres etapas: la elección, la crisis y la reelección vocacional; sin embargo, durante su primera y segunda elección vocacional, los jóvenes asumieron una postura subjetiva diferente y opuesta frente a las exigencias sociales y familiares. Este cambio de posición subjetiva fue impulsado por la crisis vocacional, y por la búsqueda y análisis de la información consecuente.

The article develops the objectives of characterizing the vocational reelection process of a group of ten students from private universities in Metropolitan Lima (Peru) and analyzing their subjective position throughout it. The qualitative research approach with phenomenological design was used and the data collection technique was the semi-structured interview. It was found that the vocational reelection process is composed of three stages: the election, the crisis and the vocational reelection. Likewise, during their first and second vocational choice, the young people assumed a different and opposite subjective position towards social and family demands. This change in subjective position was driven by the vocational crisis, and by the search and analysis of the consequent information.
