Resumen de Le nuove forme della lettura per lo studio e la ricerca

Rosa Maiello, Elena Corradini, Natascia Danieli

  • Lifelong learning as well as scientifc an professional research are based on a variety of activities, require specifc infrastructures and tools, involve the activation of relationships and collaborations, and are afected by economic and technical factors. Schools, universities, libraries, archives and other cultural institutes are the infrastructures institutionally responsible for promoting and supporting learning and research, and today they do so by integrating digital resources, services and technologies, and also by redefning their functions and their own mission. At the same time, the protagonism of commercial producers of platforms and services for teaching and research has emerged, both as partners of the former, and directly towards end users. How are learning and research styles being shaped in this new context? Are we able to manage this change, and the related opportunities and risks with respect to our ability to select, critically analyze and reprocess information?
