Aseo del paciente

    El paciente que está hospitalizado requiere de unos cuidados para su pronta recuperación, mantener una buena higiene tiene un papel fundamental, ya que evita el riesgo de infecciones. El Técnico en Cuidados Auxiliares de Enfermería es el responsable de esta tarea, que junto con la colaboración a veces del celador, hacen una labor especialmente importante, la intención de realizar un correcto aseo en el paciente, es la de eliminar la suciedad y el sudor. Tiene muchos beneficios, uno de ellos es estimular la circulación sanguínea, que para pacientes que están encamados durante mucho tiempo, es muy beneficioso para el retorno venoso. En caso de que tengan fiebre, se reduce y el paciente sienta un bienestar inmediato. El aseo favorece el cambio postural, que el paciente siempre agradece, la intención es que pueda sentir algo de alivio para su mejoría.

    No todos los pacientes necesitan la misma ayuda, depende la situación a la que se enfrentan cuando entran al Hospital. Lo que está claro, es que el paciente debe colaborar siempre en su cierta medida, y si no, se le presta la ayuda que necesite. Siempre se actúa para favorecer al paciente, estando en todo momento en comunicación con él. Esta labor hace que el Técnico en Cuidados de Enfermería, pueda observar la evolución del paciente, el contacto diario con el paciente nos ayuda para poder saber sí sigue una correcta recuperación o sí hay algo que no va bien, y actuar en consecuencia de ello.

    La importancia de seguir un protocolo de actuación en el aseo del paciente es de suma importancia para realizar buen trabajo, en algunos casos el paciente siente dolor al moverlo, o siente cierto pudor al quitarle la ropa y por eso es adecuado seguir un orden, una forma de actuar, que todos los que colaboran en la tarea, deben tener claro. Es un trabajo en equipo, mano a mano.

    The patient who is hospitalized requires care for his speedy recovery, maintaining good hygiene plays a fundamental role, since it avoids the risk of infections. The Auxiliary Nursing Care Technician is responsible for this task, who together with the sometimes collaboration of the caretaker, do an especially important job, the intention of carrying out a correct cleanliness for the patient is to eliminate dirt and sweat. It has many benefits, one of them is stimulating blood circulation, which for patients who are bedridden for a long time, is good for venous return; If they have a fever, it is reduced and the patient feels immediate well-being. Cleaning promotes a postural change, which the patient always appreciates. The intention is that he can feel some relief for his improvement. Not all patients need the same help, it depends on the situation they face when they enter the Hospital, what is clear is that the patient must always collaborate to a certain extent, and if not, appropriate help is provided. We always act to benefit the patient, being in communication with them at all times. This work allows the Nursing Care Technician to observe the patient’s evolution. Daily contact with the patient helps us to know if a correct recovery is continuing or if there is something that is not going well, and to act accordingly. The importance of following an action protocol in the patient’s cleanliness is of utmost importance to do the job well done. In some cases, the patient feels pain when moving the patient, or feels a certain modesty when removing the patient’s clothing and that is why it is appropriate to follow an order, a way of acting that all those who collaborate in the task have to be clear about. It is teamwork, hand in hand.
