Resumen de Impacto generado por el covid-19 en la salud mental de los habitantes de la ciudad de San Gil-Santander

  La pandemia producto del covid-19, fue una situación inesperada para la población a nivel mundial, grandes cambios vinieron con ella, fueron tantas las alteraciones, que el mundo debió aprender a vivir bajo esas circunstancias. Sin duda alguna uno de los aspectos que más se vio afectado fue la Salud mental, por lo tanto, se hace necesario saber ¿Qué impacto generó el covid-19 en la salud mental de los habitantes de San Gil-Santander?; Para eso se describió el impacto generado por el covid-19 en los habitantes de San Gil, con una investigación de enfoque cualitativo de tipo descriptivo, esto se llevó a cabo por medio de recolección de información la cual fue organizada en un documento de Excel Pivote  para posteriormente analizarla por medio de la técnica del Big Data, debido a que permite optimizar la la organización de la misma. Los resultados obtenidos al utilizar los principios de la técnica del Big Data en el presente artículo demostraron que los habitantes de la ciudad de San Gil, tuvieron un impacto negativo en su salud mental, demostrando que incremento la asistencia a los servicios de salud mental y los episodios depresivos.

  The covid-19 pandemic was an unexpected situation for the population worldwide, great changes came with it, there were so many changes that the world had to learn to live under these circumstances. Without a doubt, one of the aspects that was most affected was mental health, therefore, it is necessary to know what impact covid-19 had on the mental health of the inhabitants of San Gil-Santander?; For this, the impact generated by covid-19 on the inhabitants of San Gil was described, with a descriptive qualitative approach investigation, this was carried out by means of collecting information which was organized in an Excel Pivot document. to later analyze it through the Big Data technique, because it allows optimizing its organization. The results obtained by using the principles of the Big Data technique in this article showed that the inhabitants of the city of San Gil had a negative impact on their mental health, showing that they increased attendance at mental health services and depressive episodes.
