  • The essay analyses the cultural itinerary of Giusppe Pera about disciplinary dismissal. The examination of several writings devoted to the issue enables to appreciate the methodology of the lawyer from Lucca; by the light of this methodology, the author observes some topics of the most recent reforms of labour law as regards dismissals.
