Resumen de Ontologia e literatura em Sartre: apelos a novos significados de mundo

The profusion of ontological theories developed in the History of Philosophy provides foundations for understanding human individuality, and, therefore, collective action. However, in many cases, such profusion of theories results in directives for actions based on overrated precepts of life models. Not aligned with this context, a thought aimed at deconstructing human determinism and giving legitimacy to the inalienable power of choice is necessary. Not choosing is not an option, yet it is common for people to deny their freedom. Sartre's philosophy demonstrates how we are freedom from any proposed definition of being human, a condition that historically places us in an antagonistic position. On the one hand, we can be whatever we want. On the other hand, we have the burden of responsibility inherent in our existence. Thus, the very thing that gives us creative power can also be what impels us to act in bad faith. Projecting into life requires responsibility in every act, based on original and committed choices. Therefore, an act will never be isolated, even if it is free of precedents: it will always be for oneself and others. Sartre's thoughts are therefore considered a proposal for an ethical movement for creating universal values. This ontology is evident in both his philosophical work and his literature since understanding it as an appeal to freedom means it is also an engaged philosophy. Such engagement happens from the writer to the reader, in which the reader may or may not adhere to the writer who projects into the world as value and universal appeal. This intersubjectivity provides fertile ground for creation and, consequently, new projections into the world, whether with new literature or other actions based on literature. In this sense, the article aims to investigate and present key points of the metaphysical basis of Sartre’s ontology based on its main concepts regarding freedom and their relationship with the world. Furthermore, along with Sartre’s ontological-literary proposal, the article provides an opportunity to impel the subject to engage in creating new values.

A profusão de teorias ontológicas desenvolvidas na história da filosofia possibilita fundamentos para o entendimento da individualidade humana e, consequentemente, o agir coletivo. Porém, em muitos casos, resultam como ditames para ações pautadas em preceitos superestimados de modelos de vida. Na inconformidade com esse contexto, um pensamento que vise a desconstrução do determinismo humano e dê legitimidade ao poder inalienável de escolha se faz necessário. Não escolher não é uma opção, no entanto, é comum que pessoas neguem a sua liberdade. A filosofia de Sartre mostra como somos liberdade ante qualquer proposta de definição de ser humano, condição esta que nos situa historicamente em um antagonismo. Por um lado, podemos ser aquilo que quisermos. No entanto, inerente à nossa existência, temos o fardo da responsabilidade. Diante disso, o que nos dá poder de criação também pode ser aquilo que impele a agir de má-fé. O lançar-se para a vida requer responsabilidade a cada ato, a partir de escolhas originais e engajadas. Assim, mesmo que livre de precedentes, um ato jamais será isolado: sempre será para mim e para o outro. Logo, considera-se o pensamento de Sartre uma proposta de um movimento ético de criação de valores universais. Essa ontologia não é apenas revelada em sua obra filosófica, mas também na sua literatura, pois, entendendo-a como apelo à liberdade, é também uma filosofia engajada. Tal engajamento se dá a partir do escritor para com o leitor, em que este possa aderir ou não àquele que se lança ao mundo como valor e apelo universal. Essa intersubjetividade possibilita campo fértil para a criação e, consequentemente, novos lançares para o mundo, seja com novas literaturas, seja com outras ações fundamentadas em projetos a partir da literatura. Dessa forma, o artigo proposto visa investigar e apresentar pontos cruciais da base metafísica da ontologia de Sartre, a partir de seus principais conceitos acerca da liberdade e a relação destes com o mundo. Ademais, junto à proposta ontológico-literária de Sartre, o estudo apresentará uma possibilidade de impulsionar o sujeito ao engajamento para a criação de novos valores.
