Resumen de Postimágenes en la poesía intermedial de Julián Axat

  El objetivo es, primero, analizar parte de la producción lírica de Julián Axat, por medio del concepto de postimagen, en dos poemas de su libro El amor por los débiles & el instinto de asesinato (2023). En los poemas observamos un continuum histórico de la violencia entre el siglo XX y el actual por medio de una serie de relaciones intermediales con el archivo intangible. A partir de la idea de la ausencia de imagen, proponemos el concepto de postimagen para explorar poemas sin imágenes pero que remiten a una visualidad marcada o registrable en términos estéticos/políticos. Y si bien el anterior es el principal objetivo, sondearemos brevemente un gesto notable impulsado por el poeta: mejorar vía Inteligencia Artificial una imagen de George Floyd para el poema “Lamento por la muerte de George Floyd”, por medio del cual sondearemos el concepto de archivo ficcional.

  The objective is, first, to analyze part of Julián Axat’s lyrical production, through the concept of postimagen in two poems of his book, El amor por los débiles & el instinto de asesinato (2023). In the poems we observe a historical continuum of violence between the twentieth century and the present, through a series of intermediate relationships with the intangible archive. From the idea of the absence of image, we propose the concept of postimage to explore poems without images, but which refer to a marked or registerable visuality in aesthetic/political terms. And while the former is the main objective, we will briefly probe a remarkable gesture prompted by the poet: generating a George Floyd’s image via Artificial Intelligence for the poem “Lament for the Death of George Floyd,” by means of which we will probe the concept of fictional archive.
