Análisis del sistema operacional en el terminal Inter cantonal del Cantón Riobamba y su incidencia en la calidad de servicio que se ofrece a los usuarios

    El estudio de factibilidad del sistema operacional del terminal intercantonal del cantón Riobamba y su incidencia en la calidad de servicio que se ofrece a los usuarios tiene como objetivo mejorar el funcionamiento en: flota vehicular, infraestructura, gestión administrativa y por ende brindar un servicio de calidad. La presente investigación se realizó mediante el método analítico y sintético lo cual permite realizar un análisis de las características más relevantes tanto en la funcionalidad del terminal intercantonal y la prestación de servicio que se ofrece; del mismo modo se utilizó las técnicas e instrumentos como: encuestas a usuarios y conductores, fichas de observación, aforos de ascenso y descenso de pasajeros que sirvieron de apoyo para identificar los inconvenientes que se suscitan en dicho terminal. Al finalizar con el levantamiento de información los resultados obtenidos determinaron que los pasajeros no acuden a dicho terminal para acceder al servicio de transporte además la infraestructura no cuenta con los aspectos necesarios para el funcionamiento por lo que los usuarios no están satisfechos con el nivel de servicio que ofrece. Se concluye que el sistema operacional del terminal intercantonal no cuenta con los requisitos mínimos para su adecuado funcionamiento. Se recomienda el rediseño de implantación de la infraestructura del terminal y el reordenamiento de rutas y frecuencias del transporte urbano para que de esa manera los usuarios puedan tener mayor accesibilidad a dicho terminal.

    The feasibility study of the operational system of the inter-cantonal bus station of the canton Riobamba and its impact on the quality of service offered to users aims to improve the operation management in the vehicle fleet, infrastructure, and administrative management and therefore provide a high-quality service. This research was carried out using the analytical and synthetic method, which allows an analysis of the most relevant characteristics both in the functionality of the inter-cantonal bus station and the service it offers. In order to gather the information, it was used user and driver surveys, observation cards, passenger loading and unloading gauges that served as support to identify the inconveniences that happen in this bus station. Once the information obtained was processed, results determined that passengers do not go to this bus station to use the transport service. In addition, the infrastructure does not have the necessary requirements for its operation, so users are not satisfied with the level of service offered by this bus station. It is concluded that the operational system of the inter-cantonal bus station does not have the minimum requirements for its proper functioning. It is recommended the redesign of the bus station infrastructure and the redesign of urban transport routes and frequencies so that users can have greater accessibility to this bus station.
