    En la disciplina de la educación física y en las ciencias del deporte en general, ha existido una pregunta y reflexión en torno a la gestión y administración deportiva junto con su diferenciación, relación y de las personas que deben llevar estas tareas en las organizaciones deportivas. Lo que ha generado que se lleve a la construcción de un campo disciplinar y profesional alrededor del educador físico. Este artículo de revisión nace con el objetivo de indagar en la literatura científica entre los años 2019-2024 en torno a la conceptualización de gestión y administración deportivas junto con las tendencias investigativas en el campo. Se utiliza una metodología cualitativa con diseño documental; se realiza la búsqueda en Scholar, Scopus y Science Direct, la selección de registros científicos se realiza a través de la declaración PRISMA arrojando una muestra de 18 artículos científicos para su análisis mediante síntesis y Atlas.ti v.9.4. Se refleja la gran tendencia de estudios en torno a la necesidad de consolidar el perfil profesional del administrador y gestor deportivo junto con vincularlo con dinámicas actuales del mercadeo como el marketing, también se logra evidenciar las diferencias y similitudes existentes entre la gestión y la administración deportiva.

    In the discipline of physical education and in sports sciences in general, there has been a question and reflection on sports management and administration along with its differentiation, relationship and the people who should carry out these tasks in sports organizations. This has led to the construction of a disciplinary and professional field around the physical educator. This review article is born with the objective of investigating the scientific literature between the years 2019-2024 around the conceptualization of sports management and administration along with the research trends in the field. A qualitative methodology with documentary design is used; the search is performed in Scholar, Scopus and Science Direct, the selection of scientific records is made through the PRISMA statement yielding a sample of 18 scientific articles for analysis in resume and Atlas.ti v9.4. It reflects the great tendency of studies on the need to consolidate the professional profile of the sports administrator and manager along with linking it with current marketing dynamics such as marketing, it is also possible to show the differences and similarities between sports management and administration.
