    Introducción: El presente estudio se corresponde a una revisión sistemática, la cual abordó el tema relacionado al rol de enfermería en el almacenamiento y conservación de las vacunas como garantía de protección específica e inmunizante. Objetivo: El desarrollo de esta investigación fue analizar el rol del profesional de enfermería en el almacenamiento y conservación de las vacunas como garantía de protección específica e inmunizante, según la teoría de Patricia Benner: una revisión sistemática. Métodos: Esta investigación se basó en una revisión sistemática de literatura publicada entre 2019 y 2024, en español.  través del buscador Google académico en las bases de datos digitales como PubMed, Scopus, Scielo, Redalyc, utilizando la pregunta PICO y los términos vacunas, prevención, enfermedades prevenibles y teoría de Patricia Benner. Del mismo modo, se emplearon los operadores booleanos AND y OR para conectar las palabras de búsqueda y estrechar los resultados existentes sobre el tema objeto de estudio. También se utilizó el método PRISMA, la cual permitió asegurar la rigurosidad y caracterizar los estudios incluidos.  Resultados: Esta investigación destacó el rol del profesional de enfermería en el almacenamiento y conservación de la vacunación, quienes responsablemente  desde siempre han asumido el liderazgo en el desarrollo del Programa de vacunación. Se evidenció la necesidad de contar con personal de enfermería con las competencias tecno, científicas y procedimentales que les permita llevar a cabo los procesos requeridos que garanticen la eficacia de las vacunas y la seguridad del usuario; que  que sumado al aporte el aporte de la teoría de Patricia Benner, facilitó el planteamiento de una perspectiva integral del cuidado como alternativa para el desarrollo de una práctica basada en la experincia no solo desde el punto de vista de la enfermería sino también desde la visón del paciente.

    Introduction: The present study corresponds to a systematic review, which addressed the issue related to the role of nursing in the storage and conservation of vaccines as a guarantee of specific and immunizing protection. Objective: The development of this research was to analyze the role of the nursing professional in the storage and conservation of vaccines as a guarantee of specific and immunizing protection, according to Patricia Benner's theory: a systematic review. Methods: This research was based on a systematic review of literature published between 2019 and 2024, in Spanish.  through the Google academic search engine in digital databases such as PubMed, Scopus, Scielo, Redalyc, using the PICO question and the terms vaccines, prevention, preventable diseases and Patricia Benner's theory. Similarly, the Boolean operators AND and OR were used to connect the search words and narrow the existing results on the topic under study. The PRISMA method was also used, which made it possible to ensure rigor and characterize the included studies.  Results: This research highlighted the role of the nursing professional in the storage and conservation of vaccination, who have always responsibly assumed leadership in the development of the Vaccination Program. The need to have nursing personnel with the technological, scientific and procedural skills that allows them to carry out the required processes that guarantee the effectiveness of the vaccines and the safety of the user was evident; that added to the contribution the contribution of Patricia Benner's theory facilitated the approach of a comprehensive perspective of care as an alternative for the development of a practice based on experience not only from the nursing point of view but also from the patient's point of view.
