  La neurocirugía es una especialidad médica dedicada al estudio de las enfermedades tratadas mediante cirugía del sistema nervioso central, en adultos y niños, en las partes del cuerpo: cerebro, meninges, base del cráneo, nervios espinales periféricos y sangre. Durante las últimas décadas, el notable progreso de diversas tecnologías y su introducción en casi todos los sectores de la sociedad han revolucionado la mayoría de las actividades, tanto a nivel macro como microeconómico, creando "la era del conocimiento" que sustenta un mundo globalizado, que requiere Alta formación profesional. , educación continua y conexiones entre profesionales de diferentes disciplinas. Se realiza un estudio bibliográfico descriptivo para analizar los estudios previos sobre el empleo de las tecnologías en las consultas de neurocirugía y cuáles son las de mayor impacto en el perfeccionamiento de las consultas fueras del quirófano y se ha denotado sus posibles usos partiendo de las posibilidades económicas de las instituciones hospitalarias. El método empleado, se han utilzados las bases de datos Pubmed, Scopus y Google escolar para recopilar la información nesecaria y pertinente para esta investigación
