Resumen de Berlín a 'El museu de la rendició incondicional': Runes cobertes d'herba indiferent

Aquest article estudia com El museu de la rendició incondicional, novel·la de Dubravka Ugrešić publicada l’any 1997, permet pensar a través de la ciutat de Berlín la situació d’Europa durant la Guerra Freda així com després de la caiguda del Mur, la dissolució de l’URSS i l’inici de la guerra de Iugoslàvia. A partir de l’obra de diferents autors i, posteriorment, posant el focus d’atenció en l’obra d’Ugrešić, s’hi analitza especialment l’ús de l’estratificació com a recurs narratiu, que permet desenvolupar unes reflexions sobre la superposició de capes temporals que hi ha en diversos espais o objectes concrets.

This article studies how The Museum of Unconditional Surrender, a Dubravka Ugrešić’s novel published in 1997, makes it possible to think through the city of Berlin the situation of Europe during the Cold War and after the Fall of the Wall, the dissolution of the USSR and the dawn of the Yugoslav wars. Paying attention to Ugrešić’s book as well as to other contemporary artists’ works, this investigation will especially focus on the use of stratification as a narrative device that allows several reflections about the overlapped temporal layers that can be found in certain spaces or objects.
