Resumen de París como palimpsesto memorial en Georges Perec y Patrick Modiano

  El siguiente artículo pretende explorar la relación que la obra de Patrick Modiano y Georges Perec mantiene con su ciudad natal y de qué manera, lejos de anclar París a la vanguardia temporal e histórica, la representan en tanto que anacrónica. Es decir, evidencian que el espacio urbano que habita está atravesado por una multiplicidad temporal que lo define y que no puede evitar. Así,centrándose en En el café de la juventud perdida y Dora Bruder, por un lado, se intentará exponer cómo el pasado, tanto personal como colectivo, de la Ocupación nazi de París es inseparable de un narrador que, o bien huiría de él o seguiría sus rastros por los barrios y calles de un espacio asaltado por un ambiente melancólico y onírico. Por otro lado, si bien la mayoría de la producción literaria de Georges Perec tiene una clara relación con París y lo urbano, será el proyecto Lieux el que sirva de apoyo para explorar de qué manera entiende la relación con lo habitable y cómo la memoria de una infancia perdida que habita en los lugares que vive en el presente determina una topografía que satura el espacio con multiplicidad de tiempos.

  The following article aims to explore the relationship that the work of Patrick Modiano and Georges Perec maintains with Paris, their hometown, and in what way, far from anchoring the city to a historical avantgarde, they represent it anachronistically. That is to say, they make evident that the urban space is traversed by a temporal multiplicity that defines it. Focusing on Dans le café de la jeunesse perdue and Dora Bruder on one hand, we will try to show how the past, both personal and collective, of the Occupation of Paris is inseparable from a narrator who would either flee from it or follow its traces through the neighborhoods and streets of a space assaulted by a melancholic atmosphere. On the other hand, although the majority of Perec’s literary production has a clear rapport with Paris, it will be the project Lieux that will serve as a support to explore how he understands the relationship with the space and how the memory of a lost childhood inhabits the places he lives in the present creating a topography that saturates the space with a multiplicity of times.
