Resumen de Neurociencia y validación de identidad aplicada a seguridad de exámenes en línea de nuevo ingreso del TecNM: retos y beneficios

  El gran reto de las instituciones de educación superior es ofrecer seguridad en el proceso de selección en línea de aspirantes de nuevo ingreso. En este contexto, concebimos la identidad digital como un concepto que específicamente hace referencia a la manera como las personas se pueden representar y autenticar en internet, lo cual es relevante para realizar diversas transacciones y operaciones en la red. Sin embargo, la identidad digital también plantea grandes desafíos y riesgos, especialmente en el ámbito educativo, donde se requiere garantizar la seguridad y la integridad de los exámenes de nuevo ingreso con el fin de mejorar el proceso educativo. En este capítulo, por tanto, se revisa la literatura sobre la relación que existe entre la neurociencia y la validación de identidad en línea. Para ello, se indaga en cómo las tecnologías biométricas y blockchain pueden contribuir a mejorar la seguridad y la confianza en los procesos de evaluación y selección de aspirantes de nuevo ingreso en una institución educativa. Además, se analizan los beneficios y las limitaciones de estas herramientas, así como las implicaciones éticas y legales que esto conlleva. La neurociencia y la identidad digital son sencillamente dos elementos que se complementan y que ofrecen oportunidades para innovar y optimizar los sistemas educativos en el mundo digital. Por lo tanto, el objetivo es identificar los beneficios y limitaciones para garantizar seguridad en el proceso, de modo que se pueda implementar de una manera más efectiva y correcta en las instituciones de educación superior del Tecnológico Nacional de México.

  The great challenge for higher education institutions is to offer security in the online selection process for new applicants. In this context, we identify digital identity as a concept that specifically refers to the way in which people can represent and authenticate themselves on the Internet, which is relevant and important to be able to carry out various transactions and operations on the network. However, digital identity also poses great challenges and risks, especially in the educational field, where it is necessary to guarantee the security and integrity of new entrance exams, thus improving the educational process. This chapter reviews the literature on the relationship between neuroscience and online identity validation, exploring how biometric and blockchain technologies can contribute to improving security and trust in the evaluation and selection processes of applicants for new jobs. admission to an educational institution. The benefits and limitations of these tools are analyzed, as well as the ethical and legal implications that this entails. Neuroscience and digital identity are simply two fields that complement each other and also offer opportunities to innovate and optimize educational systems in the digital world. Therefore, the objective is to identify the benefits and limitations, which contribute to guaranteeing security in such a way that allows us to implement it in a more effective and correct way in the Higher Education Institutions of the National Technology of Mexico
