Resumen de Fortalezas e potencialidades de atividades extensionistas: Percepções de professoras de centro de educação infantil

  Extension actions (EA) share teaching-learning between community and University. They build dialogues and provoke decisive and inclusive transformations. This study aimed to understand the perceptions of teachers working in an Children's Educational Center (CEC) about strengths and potential of EA carried out in this institution. Data were collected through open, recorded and transcribed interviews with fourteen teachers, after approval of the research project “Perceptions of teachers from Children's Educational Center on extension activities” by the Research Ethics Committee (CAAE 67725123.3.0000.5231). It was found that intelligible communication during EA is fundamental for the assimilation of content by children. By understanding aspects related to self-care, they can promote health in their families. Joint planning by EA is essential to understand the school’s needs. EA were considered synergistic instruments for the activities developed by the CEI and important for the training of students, as long as there is openness to teaching and learning.

  Ações extensionistas (AE) compartilham o ensino-aprendizagem entre a comunidade e a Universidade. Constroem diálogos e provocam transformações resolutivas e includentes. Este estudo objetivou conhecer percepções de professoras atuantes em um Centro de Educação Infantil (CEI) sobre fortalezas e potencialidades das AE realizadas nessa instituição. Os dados foram coletados mediante entrevistas abertas, gravadas e transcritas com quatorze professoras, após aprovação do projeto de pesquisa “Percepções de professoras de Centro de Educação Infantil sobre atividades extensionistas” pelo Comitê de Ética em Pesquisa (CAAE 67725123.3.0000.5231). Constatou-se que uma comunicação inteligível durante as AE é fundamental para a assimilação dos conteúdos pelas crianças. Quando elas compreendem aspectos relacionados ao autocuidado, podem promover saúde em seus núcleos familiares. O planejamento conjunto das AE é indispensável para o conhecimento das necessidades da escola. As AE foram consideradas instrumentos sinérgicos às atividades desenvolvidas pelo CEI e importantes para a formação dos discentes, desde que haja abertura para o ensino-aprendizagem.
